The Mission Community

Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer are said publicly at 9.00am and 5.30pm daily except on Sundays (see above). The church is open daily between 8.30am and 11.30am  

 

We welcome all visitors to our church, on a Sunday there are people sat at the back of church who will help you with any aspect of the church before or during the service. The clergy would love to have the opportunity to speak to you after the service.

 

Tea, coffee or soft drinks are available after Mass, there is no charge for these refreshments but any donations are always welcome

 

NOTE: Safeguarding: If you have any concerns regarding the safety of children and others who are vulnerable, regardless of age, you must tell the Duty Priest and/or Fiona Hazeel, the Lay Safeguarding Officer.

New PCC Meeting 24th May at 7.00pm in St Peter’s

 

Prize Bingo at St Peter’s on May 19th, 6.45pm doors open, 7.30pm eyes down. Refreshments available.

 

FiF/Society Spring Festival at Barton on 20th May. The FiF AGM begins at 11.00 am, then there is Mass at noon with Ven Ian Chandler as preacher. Speaker after lunch is the Rev Graham Hamilton, a General Synod member who will speak about how evangelicals see the Church and the issue of the day. If you would like to attend but would need transport please let Fr David know

Thy Kingdom Come is global wave of prayer between 25th May - 4th June, last year we held a Hour of Prayer daily before the blessed Sacrament, this year we will be setting up prayer stations around St Peter’s. If you have a creative flare and would like to help set them up please see Fr. David.

 

House Study Group,7.00pm at The Vicarage, we will be taking a “Birds Eye View of the Bible” over the coming weeks, this Tuesday Moses to King David.

 

Family Fest 2017 takes place between 9th – 11th June at Dart River Country Park. This is a wonderful event for the whole family and is organised by Priests of “The Society” in Exeter. The price is £15 each for the weekend this includes pitch fees, BBQ and Fish and Chip Supper and much more. Each evening is the opportunity to socialise together. If equipment is a problem please see Fr David.
