Food Parcels- thank you to all who have made donations towards to food parcels we are providing to families in our local area and thank you to those who have helped pack and distribute these. We will be continuing throughout August, please talk to Ben if you would like to know more about this

Face Masks/ coverings The Government & the Church of England’s advice is that these should now be worn when in church. The situation is slightly different to shops etc as it is not mandatory so we will not stop anybody from entering the church who is not wearing a face covering but would hope everyone will out of care for each other. There are also exemptions to the wearing of a face covering and we must respect that also. Any worries or concerns or if you find participation in the service difficult under these conditions, please speak to the clergy or churchwardens.

Fr David has to go into hospital on Thursday for day surgery and as part of the conditions in the present situation he  has to self-isolate in the lead up to the appointment, he hopes to be back in church next Sunday. He is contactable by phone or email during this time except Thursday obviously.

Walsingham Pilgrimage. Sadly, all residential pilgrimages to Walsingham have now been cancelled. We are planning to go next year on the same week (6th -10th September). There are a number of options we have for our deposits, we can hold them over for next year (preferred), we can ask for a refund or you can convert your deposit into a donation.

St Thomas’ will reopen for Mass next Sunday 2nd August
